The CO-OP will be part of a HSSEQ team for Air Products Qudra in Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) and Jubail II.
Primary focus will be on learning, evaluating, and preparing best practices by being responsible for promoting a culture of safe working habits, improving safety performance, and implementing company strategies as it relates to health, safety, security, environmental & quality.
In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a wide variety of activities encompassing all aspects of occupational health, safety, fire prevention, process safety as well as environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for our employees & facilities.
The CO-OP will be supporting the APQ Jubail Industrial Gas Hub, a world scale reformer (HYCO), a CO2 recovery unit, an Air Separation Facility, and all ancillary equipment associated with the
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Assist in implement APQ HSSE philosophy & management while infusing Local Saudi best practices into APQ policies & standards.
To provide guidance, expertise, and technical support to operations management and employee led safety and environmental committees in the identification, measurement, and control of HSSE risks.
To analyze and understand plant operations, determining their impact on process safety, employee safety, health and the environment, and work with plant personnel to develop and comply with HSSE policies and procedures.
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities (CI) to meet annual Productivity savings targets.
