To provide surveying supervision support to assist the Urban Planning Department in the delivery of typical planning based deliverablesOrganizational Relationship: A brief synopsis of reporting relationships i.e:Report to the Director of Urban Planning. Interfaces with other projects and Sections and Departments in surveyingMajor Activates Performed: List the major job function (s) of the position:Responsible for filed verification of constructed elements and survey points such as permanent survey marks, roads, fences, infrastructure networks, buildings, levels etc.Checking of all grade elevations shown in issued drawings e.g. plan profiles, vertical and horizontal alignments etc.Creating accurate Land Coordinate Diagrams (LCDs)and Sketch Plans for existing and proposed planning featuresPrepare high quality CAD based drawings of field survey work.
