We are looking for a highly competent Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to join a leading gasification and power production facility. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with radiation safety regulations, licensing, and permitsConduct radiation monitoring, exposure assessments, and risk evaluationsDevelop and deliver radiation safety training and awareness programsLead emergency preparedness planning and conduct radiation incident drillsManage radioactive waste handling, storage, and disposal in line with standardsCollaborate with EHSS teams to align radiation safety with overall safety strategyEnsure effective implementation of shielding, interlocks, and monitoring systemsMaintain accurate exposure records, incident reports, and audit documentation? RequirementsBachelor?s degree in: Health Physics, Radiation Protection, Environmental Science, or related fieldCertified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) (mandatory)Minimum 5+ years of experience in radiation safety within:Industrial / Energy / Power sectorsStrong knowledge of:IAEA, OSHA, NRC or local regulatory frameworksRadiation monitoring equipment and risk assessmentEmergency response planning? PreferredExperience in EHSS environmentsHAZMAT or Industrial Safety training certification??
