Job Description

The Role!An accountable Project Engineer responsible for all engineering and technical fields that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and lead all the technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. The key focus of the position is to lead and supervise the technical and mechanical/piping aspects of any given project, ensuring running within budget and time frame.Requirements of the Role:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and supervise the assigned engineering projects.
  • Supervise compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients/construction team / Contractor to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel?s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor the project team.
  • Collaborate and communicate successfully with the Project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering work and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Attend and/or lead project meetings.
  • Assist and/or complete project closeout.
  • Experienced in working on meaningful, fast-paced, and diverse projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of packages and procurements including evaluations.
