Principal accountabilitiesMeet the goal of zero harm, at risk incidents/accidents to employees, contractors, and the environment by driving the implementation of EHS management systems and compliance. Coach and mentor O&M functions on H&S Issues, concerns, and questions. High Risk or unusual H&S activity consultation (confined space, hot work, sophisticated safety activities, etc.).4.Company Safety Programs mentor and assessment.5. Unit start-up support (initial training, standard implementation, compliance program development, etc.).6. Provide H&S support to ensure compliance with Standards, Regulations and Corporate Policies.7. Development of unit H&S improvement plans stemming from Assurance Audits, H&S assessments, and event trending.8. Participate in incident Investigation, RCA?s and assigned related to worker injuries and significant near misses and collect, verify, and report associated metrics.9. Support maintenance/ contractor safety plans and participate in all facility maintenance outages and/or repair projects to ensure safety planning and safety execution are in line with a goal of zero injuries.10.
