Tests fire extinguishers; Inspects, repairs, and/or replaces fire hoses.
Inspects extinguishers for compliance with legal specifications using hand tools and performing hydrostatic tests.
Installs cabinets for fire recall systems.
Installs fire extinguishers in new or renovated facilities.
Monitors inventory and initiates requests for supplies, materials, and equipment.
Tags fire extinguishing equipment to certify equipment has been properly inspected and operational.
Responsible for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
