Job Description

Reporting to the EHSSQ Director, the primary goal of the EHS Support Services Manager, is to manage the EHS department support functions that directly engage with JIGPC employees, assets & programs. In this role the selected candidate will manage direct reports consisting of an EHS Training Coordinator, Industrial Hygiene Technician, Contractor Safety Coordinator, Emergency Response Coordinator & Medical Services Department.In this position the incumbent will actively support the implementation of JIGPC EHS Training programs, the implementation and maintenance of the IH program to include reporting and monitoring of employee health & exposure, ensure all aspects of contractor safety are implemented and maintained properly, ensure all aspects of fire & emergency response are developed, implemented, and maintained appropriately, and will support the Medical services department that monitors the health of all JIGPC employees & contractors. In this role the selected candidate will also actively engage and support Unit Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews.The incumbent will be responsible for promoting a culture of safe working habits, improving safety performance, the support of establishing procedures, safety directives for the organization in alignment with JIGPCs values along with corporate goals and objectives. In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, and maintaining a wide variety of activities to assure the highest possible degree of safety for our employees and contractors.The role interfaces and engages with key internal and external stakeholders and customers - engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and functional leadership teams. Success in this position is dependent on strong interpersonal and influencing skills, sound judgement, operational and technical credibility, proactive leadership, with a good understanding of the operations and safety regulations and standards Including worker safety, Contractor safety management, Industrial Hygiene, Emergency Response & Medical. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESThis opportunity is for a key member of the JIGPC EHSSQ Team as well as supporting overall operations, maintenance, construction, commissioning, and start-up team. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Support development and implementation of the EHS Training Matrix
• Will oversee site induction training & implementation.
• Will support a robust competence assurance program that ensures personnel working in various Commissioning, Start-up and Operations roles have specific competence needs identified and delivered in a timely manner
• Take part in management reviews of EH&S at site and contribute to the overall EH&S planning
• Undertake third party audits on all external EHS functions to assess their capability as required
• Support IH health program assessments for JIGPC organization to recognize, eliminate, and control occupational health hazards and diseases
• Support evaluations of exposure to ionizing and nonionizing radiation and to noise, and recommends measures to ensure maximum employee protection
• Review the Respiratory Protection Program for work in hazardous enclosures
• Review reports including observations, analysis of contaminants, and recommendations for control and correction of hazards
• Audit and monitor IH programs, advise the Discipline Supervisors, of any shortfalls and provide specialist support
• Instigate a program of inspections for all work areas to ensure compliance with IH policies / procedures
• Become actively involved in Incident Investigations
• Actively support & review Sub-Contractor Pre-qualification & Onboarding process
• Actively support & review Sub-Contractor performance monitoring programs
• Review Sub-Contractor EHS Management Programs
• Support all investigations of Sub-Contractor injures/illnesses as required
• Support the implementation of the JIGPC Emergency Response Plan
• Support the JIGPC Incident Command System & Implementation during emergencies as required
• Support the JIGPC Fire & Emergency Response Drill Plan
• Support of all IGCC credible Scenarios and Incident action plans
• Implement Inspection Test & Maintenance Program for Fire Protection Systems
• Support of JIGPC Medical Services (CMC)
• Responsible for overseeing JIGPC Covid Protocols in conjunction with JIGPC Medical (Vaccinations, Covid Management etc.)
• Directly support JIGPC Medical staff consisting of Doctor, Nurses and Ambulance drivers
• Support implementation Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Programs as required
• Ensure team is versed on proper injury management protocols
• Maintain regular progress & status reports as required by the EHSSQ Director
• Collaborate with Saudi Aramco Stakeholders as required
• Actively engage in Unit Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews
• Develops and coordinates monthly EHSSQ reports
• Responsible for coordination of EHSSQ master schedule
