We will listen carefully to your observations and recognize and reward your managerial leadership.Principal Objective:The Deputy Port Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for management of all operational, commercial and compliance issues on behalf of?The Royal Commission Port Authority. He will also manage the assigned port operator within the maritime , quality, Health & Safety divisions.Organizational Relationship:Reports directly to the Port Chief Operating Officer. Will be responsible for the daily Interface with the Port Operators as well as internal and external stake holders. Environment, reporting services and IMO standers.To assure the contract terms are fully respects and followed to the detail on daily basis.Major Activities Performed:

  • Responsible for Planning, maintaining and ensuring targets/budget are met in line with the port authorities expectation.
  • Monitor Marine Division, Stevedoring and Equipment handling
  • Monitor Port Operator on behalf the Port Authority for and coordinate training obligations within the division
  • Safety Incident Rate of direct reports from all divisions managed by the Port Operator.
  • All divisions reporting directly to the Port Authority.
  • Oversee the overall Maintenance & Repair Cost of Equipment data collected from respective entities.
  • On-time completion of all Port works and expansions with contractors.
  • Oversee the port operators contract management on behalf of the Port Authority.
  • Perform Audits on behalf of the Port Authority under the guidelines of IMO?S STCW, Marpol, SOLAS, ISO, IMO, ISM, ISPS, etc. on the Port Operator to ensure compliance and to deliver respective reports.
