Job Description

SummarySupervises the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) the accreditation of all KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) continuing medical education (CME) activities and events. Provide advice, counsel, and guidance to staff regarding their concerns issues on medical education (CME). Produces the yearly Academic & Training Affairs (ATA) academic calendar and organizes ATA approved symposia. Oversees the visiting professior program.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Supervises the functions and all activities of CME workflow, activities, events and all conferenced held within KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) Coordinates with SCHS the accreditation.2. Supervises the delivery of services required for arranging conferences, which requires extensive liaison and coordination with staff internally and externally.3. Supervises and evaluates staff assigned to the area of CME and monitors the workflow. Maintains and updates data that support CME activities.4. Recommends new approaches to manage the daily operational functions of Continuing Medical Education (CME).5. Acts as a focal contact point with Information Technology (IT) bodies to facilitate CME applications and maintain CME database and CME/symposia website.6. Participates in setting the CME Section Internal Policies and Procedures, goals and plans.7. Involves in organizing all the approved ATA activities, i.e., symposia, workshops, and cources and oversees the visiting professor program.8. Produces the yearly Academic & Training Affairs (ATA) academic calendar.9. Distributes and allocates proper resources for the approved conferences.10. Monitors, liaises, and ensures compliance with AACME regulations on accreditation.11. Leads all activities and services of conducted conferences including the final report to ATA management.12. Monitors database performance. Supervises the encoding of CME activities. Maintains the integrity of CME activities.13. Generates quarterly and annual reports for CME activities and events. Supervises generating participants' reports.14. Assists with inquiries regarding CME from KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) and non-KFSH&RC participants.15. Oversees the CME activity information on the ATA websites.16. Recommends technical changes for improvement of the CME applications. Liaises, monitors and ensures compliance with the AACME regulations on accreditation.17. Coordinates with IT bodies to implements the approved changes of CME Applications.18. Recommends and implements methods to improve efficiency and quality of service.19. Utilizes the computer for a variety of office activities and correspondence, maintaining confidentiality of information. Establishes and maintains record-keeping system necessary for performing assigned tasks.20. Participates in self- and others' education, training and development as applicable.21. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.22. Performs other related duties as assigned.EducationMaster s or Bachelor's degree in health administration or related discipline required.Experience RequiredThree (3) years of related experience with Master s Degree including two (2) years experience in a supervisory capacity, or five (5) years of similar requirements with Bachelor s Degree required.Other Requirements(Certificates)Proficient in both written and oral English.Multitasking and organizational skills required.
