Description :Grade Level: L1Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 9 August 2023What is Specialist Logistics Support?The Specialist Logistics Support is someone who has the knowledge and expertise to handle and record end to end process of Logistics Support domain. The prime role of Specialist Logistics Support is creation and approving of EIF/FI, processing duties in BPM, DSO verification, international invoice verification, claim management, and reporting of Procurement Operations (Item, Vendor, PR/PO & logistics), ensuring complete compliance with SCM Manual.The role reports directly to the Expert Reporting & Logistic Support with an extended team of 2 team membersWhat does Specialist Logistics Support do?

  • Maintain the master sheet of daily processed EIF along with end to end related logistic activities.
  • Entering custom duties in BPM portal with accuracy and tracking approval.
  • Creation and approving of EIF/FI from different banks with coordination of Treasury.
  • Arrangement of insurance for shipments in liaison with vendor and insurance company.
  • Verification of shipping documents and related invoices of duties & taxes with cash receipts.
  • Verification of inland invoices related to local movement of equipment from one site to another.
  • Tracking of delay deliveries and applying claims as per purchase order/contract, in liaison with internal end-users.
  • Ensuring compliance with Logistics Support SLAs and KPIs.
  • Preparing different reports related to Purchase Requisition/Order and monthly dashboards of procurement operations.
  • Identify and support implementation of end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a key contact person for resolution of queries from finance and non-finance departments.

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics domain
  • Oracle Financials (experience of PO/PR/Receipt module)
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Pakistan customs and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience of presenting monthly progress and handling large quantum of data.
  • MS Office.
  • Analytical skills.
