Job Description

Grade Level: L1Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 22nd July, 2024What is Specialist HLR & VAS Operations?Main tasks include day to day Operation & Maintenance of VAS & HLR Network, Customer complaints handling (corporate & commercial), configuration management, troubleshooting, interaction with Internal and external stakeholder and vendor support teams for ongoing issues, project and upgrades.The role reports directly to the Manager HLR/VAS Planning & Operations and has 12 people reporting directly into it.What does Specialist HLR & VAS Operations do?

  • Have thorough competency on Value Added Services & Core Network Products.
  • Performs O&M, configuration management, fault Management, performance Management, network audit, health checks, vendor management and project execution with great product knowledge.
  • Takes ownership and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
  • Being able to work in shifts and part of 24/7 team roster.
  • Continuously review and bring improvements to the Jazz Technology and Development framework and design innovative solutions as per global best practices.
  • Handle day-to-day network operations of Jazz VAS and HLR network.
  • Engage in effective coordination with Vendor to resolve issues and have root-cause analysis (RCA Report) in possible minimum time
  • Ensure high-availability of network to the end-users and business.
  • Handles operations & administration of the Hardware & software of value added services.
  • Coordinate with all relevant technology vendors for any support issues to make sure that Service Level Agreement is always intact.
  • Comply with all the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during the execution of tasks and carrying out all job related duties.
  • Be involved in report writing and MOP preparation.
  • Remains updated on current policies, procedures, promotions, products and value added services offered by the Jazz.
