Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality of Earnings Analyst and Finance Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of our financial data and reporting. The position involves conducting in-depth analyses of our companys financial performance, identifying areas of improvement, and providing strategic insights to support key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in financial analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities:Quality of Earnings Analysis:

• Perform comprehensive reviews of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess the quality and accuracy of reported earnings.
• Analyze revenue recognition practices, expense accruals, and other accounting methods to identify potential adjustments or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including auditors and external advisors, to validate financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, highlighting key drivers and areas for improvement.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with other department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts that align with company objectives.
• Monitor budget performance throughout the year, providing regular updates and insights to help maintain financial discipline and achieve targets.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor and analyze cash flow activities, including working capital, capital expenditures, and liquidity management.
• Identify opportunities to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.

Financial Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in the implementation of financial software and tools to streamline processes and reporting capabilities where needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CA qualification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Quality of Earnings Analyst, Financial Controller, or similar role with a minimum of [insert number of years] of relevant experience.
