Description :Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 12 December 2023ÿWhat is Product Expert Merchant Payments?As Product Expert Payments, you are responsible for developing and growing the payment acceptance solutions for the retail/offline sector of Pakistan. You will be required to not only identify key partnerships to expand payment acceptance solutions but also to create inhouse solutions which will add value to the overall payment acceptance offerings for JazzCash merchants.ÿThe role reports directly to ?Manager Retail Payments? in SME segment of JazzCash. Overall SME Segment has four streams which include Product, Growth, Ecosystem, and Payments.What does a Product Expert Merchant Payments do?

  • Develop retail payment products through market research and international benchmarking
  • Liaison with different stakeholders for building payment use cases across USSD, App, and online platforms
  • Envision futuristic retail payment products in line with organization?s strategic and long-term goals
  • Create detailed product requirement for technology and GTM for marketing teams
  • Perform thorough UAT for every product prior to launch
  • Engage with different departments/functions for the timely execution of deliverables
  • Engage with local and international schemes and service providers to enabling retail payments online and offline for the customers
  • Understand merchant behaviour and work with teams to improve merchant retail payment experience to make Jazzcash preferred acquirer by merchants.
  • Manage insights and reporting for all products

  • Masters/bachelor?s degree in Management/Business
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product development role
  • Knowledge about fintech, bank, FI or payment schemes and how digital retail payments work (QR, POS, PG, Open-loop/closed-loop, Acquiring setup)
  • Experience of working on Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Tableau and Trello
  • Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • Result driven approach towards daily tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
