Grade Level: L2Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 19 December, 2022What is Expert Power Planning?Looking for Potential Candidate for Core and Data Centre facility Passive Infrastructure Planning. Candidate should have knowledge of Power, Space & Cooling Capacity Building, Power & Space Audits, Cooling Optimization and Energy efficiency solutions for Core Facility and state of art data centre passive infrastructure.The structure of the team you will join is:

  • A 2-member team (including Line Manager).
What does Power Planning Expert Development do?Key responsibilities
  • Understanding of capacity equipment for core and data center infrastructure
  • Understanding of TIA942 and Uptime standards
  • Have experience in Cooling Optimization, Cooling redesigning and Efficient use of HVAC systems in data center environment
  • Understanding of Audits on Cooling, Power, Space and Environment of Data center or Telecom sites
  • Evaluation and Assessment of Passive Infrastructure and efficient utilization of power, environment, and space.
  • Planning for Power, Space and Environment for core and data center facility according to forecast, Gathering Forecast from end users and evaluating space & Power Capacities.
  • Plan sites visit, liaison with regional teams and obtain solution accordingly
  • Do plan and execute operational excellence and power optimization related activity
  • Review current deployments of IT/Core/Transport Racks in Data Centers/MSC & prepare plan for Revamp/Reorganization to create proper and suitable power and space environment.
  • PUE Calculation of all Core/Data Center sites.
  • Preparing PUE improvement plan for each Core site & implementation.
  • Issuance of work order for new deployments.
