About this opportunity We are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing design optimization, and auditing a network to meet customer requirements. The position is applicable for the design & optimization of RAN and Services Networks. You may be engaged in the whole process from pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance.The role focuses on executing the design, audit, and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process! Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance, and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts!What you will do

• Design/Optimize networks based on Customer requirements plus contractual obligations
• Agree with the customer on baseline parameters & perform initial tuning
• Be a part of the team of engineers to secure site/cluster acceptance
• Support with securing final acceptance from customers after service delivery
• Collect and document customer requirements
• Interact with other teams of company/customer for smooth service delivery
• Propose new ways of working to reduce the time/cost of service delivery
• Delivery of features as per customer requirement
• Identify add-on sales opportunities
• Assist in the development of a service proposal
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities
• Bring innovation and improve the existing ways of working of the team.

You will bring

• Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, IT or Telecom)
• 6+years? experience in RAN/RF Design and Optimization activities.
• Experience must be in wireless Radio Access networks in a Multi-vendor environment.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of LTE, UMTS, and GSM technologies with a Radio Design and Optimization perspective.
• Analyzing and proposing parametric changes to Improve Accessibility, retainability & Mobility KPIs to achieve SLA targets agreed upon with the customer.
• Proposing Feature Trials, their implementation, and rollout in assigned areas.
• Network audit to ensure Network is running as per designed strategy.
• Capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks in the network to improve user efficiency and Latency.
• Daily Monitoring of KPIs to identify any KPI degradation, its blocking issue, and follow up till resolution.
• Quarterly and yearly KPI evaluations with customers to discuss and achieve target values.
• Respond to day to day technical queries raised by customers.
• Demonstrated ability in Transport and core networks is a plus.
• Implement, solve issues, and extensively benchmark new features and network modernization activities in coordination with level-2 and customer RF Optimization team
• Expert knowledge of tools like TEMS Discovery, Paragon, Mentor, Inquisitive Benchmark, Invex, and other industry-standard tools.
• Knowledge of local OHS statutory regulations and group OHS requirements

Network Engineer candidate is assessed according to the following tracks:

• RAN Design
• RAN Optimization
• 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE knowledge and Experience
• Familiar with RAN Design & Optimization tools (Ericsson preferably but 3PP is also good)
