You will manage a mix of day-to-day tactical and strategic initiatives, with a focus on process improvements, efficiency, employee experience, and compliance. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you will proactively identify opportunities and programs to support the business, working closely with the Talent and People team and collaborating with Finance, Workplace, IT, and Legal departments. Your strong collaboration and communication skills will help you build effective cross-functional partnerships across the company. With excellent judgment and the ability to provide thoughtful guidance and you will also lead and coach a small, high-performing team.What Youll Do:

  • Strategic and Tactical Management: Oversee daily operations and long-term initiatives to enhance process improvements, efficiency, employee experience, and compliance.
  • Process Improvements: Identify and implement strategies to streamline HR processes, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Employee Experience: Develop and execute programs that foster a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high standard of organizational integrity.
  • Proactive Identification: Recognize and address opportunities for new programs and initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Motives?s business and other departments (Finance, Workplace, IT, Legal) to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
  • Global Cross-Functional Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships across various departments worldwide to drive and support HR initiatives.
  • Communication: Serve as a key communicator within the organization, ensuring clear and effective information flow.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide thoughtful guidance on employee relations matters, utilizing excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a small, high-performing team, fostering professional growth and development.
What Were Looking For:
  • 6+ years of People Operations/HR work experience. At least four years of experience managing a People team.
  • Experience implementing operational improvements and creating efficient processes, policies, and programs; experience working in high-growth technology companies a plus
  • Ability to drive key measurements/analytics critical in driving key business/program initiatives and strategies for the business
  • Proficiency in Mac and Google applications, such as sheets, slides, and docs. Workday Experience
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire growing teams with years of strong people management experience, ideally within a People Operations function.
