Description :Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 26-July-2022What is Manager Finance?The role is responsible to support all financial related tasks including financial statement preparation, budget and forecast preparation. It reports directly to the Head of Source to Pay Operations with a dotted reporting to CEO Global Telecom Holding. The role will be a self-contributor.What does Manager Finance do?

  • Financial Statement, budget and forecast preparation,
  • Communicate with external tax consultants, understand their requirements, and remain in close contact till completion of tax matters in Egypt, Malta, and other countries where GTH has dormant companies.
  • Participate in projects involving liquidation / merger of GTH dormant entities,
  • Dealing with Auditors and getting standalone financials audited.

  • Strong report writing/presentation skills
  • Solid & proven analytical skills with an orientation with details
  • Effective project, people, and stakeholder management/coordination skills
  • Good ability to communicate across functions and geographies
  • Experienced in large ERP systems with multiple different currencies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop planning calendars and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated flexibility in re-prioritizing projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Disciplined work ethic, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • CIMA / CPA/ ACCA or Master?s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
  • Strong IFRS Knowledge
  • Prior Experience of Statutory reporting (different jurisdiction knowledge is preferred) Working together with various VEON HQ departments e.g. Tax, Legal, Treasury etc.
  • Prior experience of budgets & forecast preparation
  • Ability of communicate with geographically dispersed people
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to convey messages upstream and downstream, tailoring it to the seniority of the audience while communicating to diverse backgrounds, finance for non-finance
  • Delivering presentations and messages cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Minimum 7+ years of Finance or consulting background within a large organization
