Description :Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 24th Feb 2023What is EPMO?The Enterprise PMO team is primarily responsible for providing management reports, establishing guidelines, and a governance framework for enterprise level projects. The PMO team acts a value center for these projects. A value centric PMO contributes significantly to the success of projects, efficient utilization of resources, and help the business in achieving strategic objectives.The role reports directly to the Head of EPMO and will be part of the Data & Strategy department. The EPMO team is a 5-person team (including the line manager).What does Manager EPMO do?

  • Accountable for organization-wide education of EPMO policies, procedures, and standards and consistent application across the entire portfolio of projects
  • Engages regularly with all levels of leaders on strategy delivery and portfolio governance performance
  • Ability to align the goals of each workstream with broader enterprise objectives to deliver desired results
  • End-to-end coordination with all stakeholders and partners/ consultants involved in the project to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects under intense pressure and deliver quality work on time.
  • Having displayed the ability to manage internal & external stakeholders.
  • Fresh approach towards solving problems and mitigating risks in a project.
  • Interact with relevant stakeholders of enterprise level projects ranging from Brands, Pricing, Segments, Sales, Finance, Technology, Analytics, Strategy, Digital, Jazz Business etc.
  • Interact with the partners/ consultants that Jazz works with.
  • Develop an understanding of how EPMO works at Jazz and its frameworks.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of EPMO responsibilities of the assigned project.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in both the processes and the outcome of all projects.
  • Understand and implement project management tools/ software to the assigned project.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in effective management of projects.
  • Create insightful reports and suggest efficient solutions to problems highlighted in projects
  • Objectively analyse the workflow management of project stakeholders to recommend corrective actions if required
  • Create an EWS (Early Warning System) protocol that caters to unforeseen issues in projects and proactively recommends measures to counter such issues.

  • At least 5+ years of experience is required of which 2-3 years as a PMO role would be a plus.
  • We are looking for someone with a strong background in cross-functional project management.
  • Having displayed the ability to manage internal & external stakeholders.
  • Well versed with MS Office, Google Workspace and Cloud solutions (Onedrive etc.)
  • Expertise with MS Project, Jira, Trello, or other project management tools is a plus
