Description :Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 23rd March, 2023What is Manager Economic Affairs and Tax Advocacy?The team is part of the Corporate Affairs Department within the Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Division. The team is responsible for advocating organization?s interests with Institutions/ Ministries related to Economics, Finance and Taxation. Economic Affairs also works on developing an effective and credible Corporate & Economic Affairs strategy that identifies and meets the needs of our rapidly evolving business.The role reports directly to the Stream Head of Economic Affairs.What Manager Economic Affairs and Tax Advocacy does?

  • Taxation Advocacy (Tax Relief, Budget, Import duties, Closure of outstanding issues). Provide support to cross functional teams for achieving Organizational Objectives.
  • Represent the Company with concerned Ministries and Departments
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships
  • Collaborate and produce effective business results
  • Strategy for tax advocacy and campaign development
  • Development and execution of engagement plan

  • Bachelors/Masters with 4-7 years? experience of relevant experience
  • Experience in advocacy, campaign development, public engagement
  • Experience of engaging with internal and external officials and representatives
  • Advocacy of Economic policies
  • Microsoft Office
  • Understanding external communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
