Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 19th December 2022What is Manager Compliance ? Investigations?This role is responsible to perform the full cycle of corporate investigations on all types of breaches and violations of internal procedures and company rules, including those received through VEON?s reporting Hot Line and Case Management System, starting from the preliminary assessment to the implementation of corrective measures.The role reports directly to the Head of Investigations, Jazz.What does Manager Compliance ? Investigations do?

  • Establish liaison with other departments of the company to obtain data required for the conduct of corporate investigations.
  • Draft investigation plans in English
  • Work with information systems, databases, and equipment for investigations, as well as their maintenance and update Key Deliverables
  • Conduct interviews of reporters, witnesses and suspects
  • Identify potential violations and control weaknesses during investigation and suggest corrective and preventive measures aimed to prevent or mitigate damage
  • Prepare reports in English based on the results of corporate investigations
  • Assist Head of Investigations in the presentation of Investigation outcomes to governance bodies such as the Disciplinary Committee.
  • Coordinate the implementation of disciplinary and corrective/preventive measures approved by Disciplinary Committee, with the relevant internal departments of the company.
  • Interact with Headquarters (VEON, Amsterdam) when required for preparing and delivering the information on the status of investigations and the relevant investigation documents (investigation plan, investigation report, etc.) in English.
  • Coordinate the work of colleagues and supervising external consultants, as needed.
  • Prepare case summaries and material for reporting to OpCo and Group governing bodies, when required
  • Conduct research work and prepare training materials on topics of integrity, ethics, speak up, advance investigation methodologies and investigative interviewing
