Grade Level: L3Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 22nd August 2022What is FP&A Business Partner Technology?This role is responsible for FP&A activities including planning, analysis, reporting and investment appraisals. The role reports directly to Head FP&A Business Partner -Technology.What does FP&A Business Partner Technology do?

  • Collaborate with technology teams to formulate 5 years Opex business plans. This involves review of inputs received, substantiating through analytical procedures, setting projects timelines and ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Work with technology teams & other stakeholders for developing robust 0+12, Quarterly and rolling forecasts.
  • Carry out investment appraisals, sensitivity and variance analysis to support management decision making ensuring efficient spend.
  • Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of Opex results of technology department.
  • Spend analysis, Cost control and Reporting of key Opex items
  • Advising management of adjustments & corrective actions required.
  • Deal with budget owners to resolve their queries and provide visibility regarding Actual vs Budget spend, devise plans to close gaps, measure exchange gain/loss impacts on budget, defining PR/PO timelines to ensure timely recording, discussion on monthly results & indicators, future forecasts & sensitivity analysis and required action plans.
  • Liaison with Corporate Accounting/Shared services teams for monthly closing, accrual management etc.
  • Coordinating with auditors, Consultants for audit and other assignments.
