Job Description

Senior level role responsible for providing implementation and on-going support of PeopleSoft Enterprise One software specific to Financial applications. Provide leadership roles in defining customizations of the business software applications. Render expert-level functional and technical analysis and application support services in Weatherfords multi-company, multi-national environment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead activities with personnel of organization units to analyze user requirements and implement system supported solutions. When necessary, schedule and conduct meetings to identify problems, document specific input and output requirements specific to Financial applications such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Acorde Imaging and Approval processing, Financial reporting and understand how other applications such as Procurement, Sales Order and Manufacturing interact with the General Ledger to improve and enhance Weatherfords business application software.
  • Responsible for writing detailed Functional Design documents including descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications.
  • Develop test plan for programs to assure functionality of the application.
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of thorough, up-to-date, functional and systems documentation, business process flow diagrams and end user training material. Coordinate with the Training Group and key application users in maintaining an appropriate User Guide for end-user training and on-going field reference.
  • Involved in the error correction and testing of upgrades of the applications as needed.
  • Participate in data conversion activities by assisting in data mapping requirements and in validation testing from legacy systems during regional application rollout and in the case of merger/acquisition activity.
  • Periodic, project-oriented out-of-town and/or overseas travel may be required for requirements definition and implementation purposes.
  • Potentially significant overtime hours may be required depending on project deadlines and overall business requirements.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as may be required within the physical constraints of this position.
