Description :Grade: L3 Location: IslamabadLast Date to Apply: 22nd August 2024What is Expert Regulatory Projects, Cyber Security & PR?This role is part of the Regulatory Projects, Interconnect, Cyber Security Regulatory & PR unit in the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs department. The unit is responsible for delivering regulatory projects assigned by senior Jazz management, ensuring cyber security regulatory compliance, and creating an enabling environment for the smooth execution of any time-sensitive projects. Therefore, in addition to having a good understanding of cyber security regulations, their legal perspectives, and technical knowledge, this appointment requires maintaining good relationships with all types of relevant internal and external stakeholders.What does Expert Regulatory Projects, Cyber Security Regulatory & PR do?Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor to line Expert by having comprehensive understanding & knowledge of cyber security regulatory and legal frameworks in the telecom sector.
  • Advise line Experts in formulating upcoming cyber security policies being made at various public sector outfits in support of Jazz.
  • Work with internal Cyber Security/ ISG teams in formulating of response to any query by MoIT, PTA etc., and ensure internal compliance.
  • Extend support to Jazzs internal team by arranging support/ approvals from external stakeholders for smooth delivery of business-critical projects.
  • Delivery of Regulatory Projects assigned by line Expert from time to time.
  • Build and retain a good relationship with all types of key external stakeholders in relevant Government outfits for smooth delivery of time sensitive assigned tasks.
Key Deliverables:
  • Assist Line Expert for smooth execution/ delivery of various Regulatory Projects assigned by Jazz senior management.
  • Creating an enabling environment for senior management of Jazz by building good business relationships with external SHs to smooth execution of specially assigned projects.
  • Develop good repute and relations in public sector outfits for acquiring business critical approvals.
  • Timely issuance of warning in case some impending threat or delay is foreseen in execution of roles assigned and responsibilities.
  • Keep a constant liaison with all types of external SHs dealing with Cyber Security to support Jazz internal teams.

  • Bachelor of Engineering, preferably having Telecom/ Software Engineering degrees (reputable certifications will also be considered), with 10 to 15 years of experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security framework/legislation and background experience in the subject.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Capacity to develop diverse teams to achieve assigned goal.
  • Extracurricular activities displaying teamwork & collaboration.
