Description :Grade Level: L2Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 15 August 2023What is Expert Optical Transport Network Planning?This Position is involved in the complete network fiber planning cycle from gathering required information and inputs for both OSP and ISP design, reviews and analysis network for fiber footprint optimization and growth, generates and provides network reports and strategies in line with the wider organizational and industry requirements, supports roll out activities and manages internal and external stakeholders and vendors, Tracks progress and maintains database for technical and financial KPIs.What does Expert Optical Transport Network Planning do?? Detailed Understanding of 2G/3G/4G Network Architecture & Flows.? Optical Fiber Network planning & optimization. Topology planning, evaluation, and deployment tracking.? Understanding of Fiber Network Design processes from input and requirements gathering final design provisioning.? Understanding of Fiber To The Site (FTTS) OSP and ISP design and planning for enhancing FTTS footprint.? Developing and maintaining Network Fiber Databases including GIS databases? Understanding New requirements such as feasibilities and solutions from all stakeholders such as B2B functions.? understanding the budgeting process to generate business plans across Fiber and optical network.? Fiber Health KPI analysis leading to optimization and improvement strategies and initiatives.? Complete understanding of Optical Network High Level and Low Level Design Processes.? Optical nodes planning & optimization for backbone & Access Network. Huawei Product is a Plus.? Optical budget preparation, tracking & optimization? WDM(Backbone Optical) OTN network planning & Optimization? Planning for expansion required on the optical layer for 2G, 3G & 4G roll out.? Planning for expansion required for corporate customers on the optical layer.? Understanding of Synchronization requirements for telecom networks.? Preparation and running of RFQ and generating analysis for same.? Optical Network KPIs monitoring & reporting? Budgeting & Business planning of Optical Transport? Leased Media feasibility evaluations & Planning for solutions to meet requirements? Coordination, execution and support for new projects? Ensuring Network KPIs above set threshold?
