Description :Grade Level: L2Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: May 9th, 2022What is Expert M&A and Digital Projects?Expert M&A and Digital Projects is tax and accounting POC for all M&A and digital projects of the Company. This position is responsible for conducting detailed tax and accounting assessment of Projects, identify tax and accounting implications and propose efficient transaction structure accordingly.The role reports directly to the Manager M&A and Digital Projects and has no people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 10+ team members.What does Expert M&A and Digital Projects?

  • Finance POC for all M&A and Digital Projects (Projects) of the Company.
  • Conduct assessment of Projects to ascertain the tax and accounting implications.
  • Propose tax and accounting efficient structure for Projects.
  • Liaison with end users and FP&A team to provide inputs for building the business case for new Projects.
  • Onboarding of financial advisors/consultants and coordinate with them to ascertain the financial implications of Projects and identify the most efficient structure.
  • Undertake tax and accounting due diligence of new assets/entities being acquired and liaison with consultants in this regard.
  • Liaison with HQ tax and accounting teams to finalise the tax and accounting implications.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on tax and accounting implications of new projects.

  • Part Qualified/ Qualified CA or ACCA.
  • 4-5 years of experience. Telecom sector experience will be preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication.
  • Advanced Power Point skills.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Analytical skills.
  • In dept knowledge of IFRS and Tax laws applicable in Pakistan.
  • Oracle (R12).
  • Windows OS and MS Office.
