Job Description

Grade Level: L2Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: April 6th, 2023What is Expert BSS / IT Performance?It is a vital position to gauge and engage teams on BSS/IT and MFS Network performance, check and notify teams on network health, validate, and notify teams on BSS and IT KPI?s.The role reports directly to the Manager Network Core/Transport/BSS/IT Performance Analytics directly into it with an extended team of 4 team membersWhat does Expert BSS / IT Performance do?

  • Formulates BSS/IT network performance related dashboards and reports; evaluates what to include in dashboard and develops a whole process which the team follows
  • Ensures verification, validation, and accuracy of all generated reports/dashboards
  • Produces on daily basis impact assessment reports regarding KPI?s and issues related to user experience; Checks for KPI degradation, Network outages etc.; Conducts Root Cause Analysis for each & takes preventative measures to avoid further degradation
  • Coordination with various Jazz business and technology teams and external vendors
  • Good Knowledge of the Databases, Development languages/platforms. and Reporting/Analytics tools
  • Oversee and perform data transformation: extraction and data processing from different data sources
  • Support other teams of the department in terms of data sharing & reports
  • Resolve the Operational issues logged by the various business departments
  • Responsible for the complete end ? to ? end process of reporting operations, including implementation, maintenance activities and configuration reviews.
  • Develops long-term strategy for historical data retention and reporting.
  • Coordinates with concerned teams to ensure any new implementations, changes and migrations.
  • Assist with On-Call Support/ Coordination when applicable (24/7 Operations Management)
  • Document internal system solutions and business-related processes.
  • Manage new components deployment to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Responsible for Internal Testing and then Conducting UAT with Concerned departments for all changes made against CR.
  • Basic understanding of BSS (CRM, Billing, POS, Provisioning, Charging System) and architectural principles
  • Work well independently with strong self-direction and initiative, but know when to collaborate or seek guidance
