We have created solutions that achieve outcomes across a broad range of sectors including education, health, finance, agriculture, governance, economic growth, energy and environment, and water.Kaizen is seeking an Enterprise Development Specialist for the USAID/She Leads Pakistan Rises activity, (SLPRA). The SLPRA will increase women?s participation in Pakistan?s economy by supporting women-led businesses (WLBs), including start-ups and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME). The activity will achieve this through four mutually reinforcing objectives that aim to address underlying root causes obstructing WLBs from progressing.The objectives of SLPRA are:Objective 1: Strengthen business enabling environment for women-led businessesObjective 2: Improved Access to Economic Resources

  • Increased Access to Capital
  • Improved business performance, climate resilience and adaptation, and supply chain linkages
  • Increased access to markets and reduced gender digital divide
Objective 3: Strengthen startups ecosystemObjective 4: Supporting Pakistan?s response to economic shocks and opportunitiesResponsibilitiesThe Enterprise Development Specialist shall be responsible for leading the business enablingenvironment, access to economic resources, and start-up ecosystem efforts for the project.USAID envisions a private sector-oriented Enterprise Development Specialist who can effectively partner with women led businesses and other market actors to implement solutions to increase women?s participation in Pakistan?s economy.Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years enterprise development (preferable with women-led businesses) or similar experience.
  • Masters degree in trade and investment, business, finance, public administration, international development, enterprise development or other related discipline
  • Experience working with government partners to implement legal, policy, regulatory and procedural changes and recommendations that obstruct women-led business from gaining access to capital, markets, technology, and employment opportunities,
  • Experience supporting and developing leadership capacity of women entrepreneurs in business networks for more effective advocacy and participation,
  • Fluency in Urdu.
