Job Title: Education SpecialistReporting To: Programme Manager, PakistanContract Type: Full Time (37.5hrs/week) PermanentPrincipal Location: Islamabad, Pakistan, with frequent travel to KP and BaluchistanSalary Range: $14,400 per annumRole Purpose Street Child is seeking an education specialist to support Street Child and its partners to adopt, adapt, and implement evidence-informed education interventions in a new multi-year resilience Education program. This role will work in close collaboration with consortium members to contribute capacity strengthening and surge support and select strong, strategic evidence-informed interventions to advance the aims, outputs, and outcomes of the Pakistan Multi-Year Resilience Programme. The roll will also offer significant support for the steering, scaling, and sustaining of Street Child proven and tested EIE approaches across the Pakistan Multi-Year Resilience Programme.In addition, the Education Specialist will contribute to the development of Education projects and programmes for Street Child in Pakistan, especially in line with their expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPROGRAMME MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY [40%] Support capacity strengthening of the consortium partners by training and coaching on proven, prioritised EiE approaches.Support education team to strengthen and sustain programme partnerships.Support the consortium partners at all stages of the program cycle including program design and development; planning and implementation, monitoring and reportingCreating resources to support scaling and sustaining through comprehensive capturing of approaches through case studies, semi-structured interviews, surveys.Build capacity of Street Child education partners to measure and influence teaching and learning process on a continuous basis.Provide Street Child education partners with dedicated support to build capacity in technical project management, proposal development, grant management and reportingWorking with the communications team to promote the project successes, including the submission of case studies, pictures, etc.TECHNICAL SUPPORT [40%] Support partners in developing in-school and out-of-school strategies to optimise outcomes.Define learning intentions and design and deliver learning assessment tools and trackers aligned to national and international standards.Design and deliver training and classroom coaching support to partners to improve practice.Provide research, advice and analytical support for cross-country education activities as appropriatePROGRAMME MONITORING, EVALUATION AND REPORTING [10%] Support the design and delivery of rigorous, robust impact assessments and MEL processes for the relevant projects;Strengthen evidence sharing and situate impact against policy and programmatic landscape to engage donors, partners and researchers.Lead Evidence based Advocacy and set up systems and processes for Adaptive Programming to generate interest around action and create impactPreparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports relating to project activities as agreed by line manager.Regular field visits to provide technical guidance as requiredCONTRIBUTION TO ORGNAISATIONAL PRIORITIES [10%] In close coordination with the Country team, represent Street Child with national education platforms, Education sector working groups including ministry of education and other relevant stakeholders.Research and assess education resource mobilisation opportunities.Directly contribute to the development of projects for Street Child in Pakistan, contributing to education proposals in coordination with regional and global team.Provide surge support to Street Child?s global and regional programmes as agreed by Senior Programmes Manager- Asia
