Description :Grade Level: L1 Location: Islamabad, PakistanLast date to apply: 29th August, 2024What is this role about?Business Assurance Analyst ? Digital is responsible for the comprehensive monitoring and analysis of digital products, including OTTs, Cloud Solutions, and IoT. This role is critical in safeguarding the companys revenue by ensuring the integrity of revenue streams, detecting and mitigating risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and proactively identifying and preventing revenue leakages. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining AI-driven models for anomaly detection, further strengthening the company?s ability to prevent revenue leakages and manage risks in the assurance domain.This position reports directly to the Manager Assurance & Analytics.What does Business Assurance Analyst ? Digital do?Data Analysis & AI Model Development:

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven models for anomaly detection in assurance, Fraud & Risk management.
• Perform detailed data validation and analysis using SQL, Excel, Power BI and other data tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Work on refining these models by analyzing their performance and incorporating feedback to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
• Automation of manual activities and systematized visualizations of trends and performance

Service Assurance:

• Assist in the continuous monitoring and analysis of revenue streams across digital products and services, including OTTs, Cloud Solutions, IoT, and traditional telecom offerings.
• Support the identification and resolution of discrepancies or anomalies in revenue generation and collection processes, ensuring that all billing, provisioning, and usage data is accurately captured.

Risk Analysis:

• Proactively identify and report potential risks associated with billing, provisioning, and usage discrepancies, as well as emerging threats in digital services.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of AI-driven models to detect anomalies, helping to mitigate risks and prevent revenue leakages.
• Products & Services Risks Management, Testing and Launch monitoring

Reporting:

• Prepare, analyze, and present regular and ad-hoc reports on findings, trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and the performance of AI-driven models.
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and AI model outputs to support business assurance strategies.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, Technical, commercial and other functions to ensure effective assurance of the domain.

Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and tools to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of business assurance activities.
• Participate in the development and implementation of innovative AI-driven methodologies and best practices to optimize revenue assurance, anomaly detection, and risk management.

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Telecom or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT, Telecom or a related field, preferably in a Data Analysis or assurance or risk management role.
• Basic understanding of telecom products, especially digital solutions like OTTs, Cloud, and IoT.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
