Grade Level: L1Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 22 December 2032What is Analyst Record to Report?Expert Record to Report is part of Record to Report (R2R) Service Operations team, which is providing accounting and reporting services to Veon HQ. Team as a whole is mainly responsible for recording of financial transactions, monthly closing and group reporting for HQ entities.The role reports directly to the Stream Head Record to Report.What does Analyst Record to Report do?

  • Perform financial closing ensuring service delivery in line with agreed KPIs and targets
  • Maintain relationship with business as well as other finance teams to effectively run GL processes including recording of transactions related to investments, dividends, FX Swaps, Inter Company, advances, prepayments, payroll etc.
  • Perform monthly GRS Hyperion Financial Management reporting for Group Consolidation and handling related queries.
  • Prepare statutory Financial Statements and liaising with internal & external auditors.
  • Maintain Oracle Cash Management module including uploading bank statements, reconciliations of all bank transactions, preparation of bank reconciliation statements and follow up on reconciling items with relevant teams.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Module including capitalization, CAPEX/OPEX reclassification, reconciliations of CAPEX clearing accounts and follow up on reconciling items with relevant teams.
  • Assist in group financial reporting, management reporting, forecast submissions, income tax reporting, VAT filing and external/internal audits facilitation.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for relevant BS accounts and follow up on identified corrections and adjustments.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOX controls including documentation and reporting, and provide assistance in MSA SOX Control testing.
  • Understand business challenges relevant to key operations and formulate ways to address them in the best possible ways.
  • Identify and support implementation of end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
