Job Description

Whatwe?re looking for:Are you a detail-oriented individual with an interest in finance and accounting? At iENGINEERING, we are searching for an Accounts Associate to join our team and support our financial operations. To succeed in this role, you should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, a strong attention to detail, and the willingness to learn and grow in a finance-related role. You will work closely with the Accounts Manager and the finance team to assist with various accounting tasks, record keeping, and financial reporting.RequirementsWhatyou?ll be doing:

  • Preparing monthly payroll.
  • Maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledgers.
  • Process transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Assist the Accounts Manager in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
  • Identify and highlight any discrepancies in financial data.
  • Prepare and update fixed asset register.
  • Assist the Accounts Manager in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Expense reimbursement checking.
  • Assists in responding to inquiries and researches and resolves problems related to day-to-day accounts issues.
  • Prepare and reconcile the petty cash on daily basis.
  • Handling employee queries and day to day operations.
Whatyou?ll bring along:ÿ
  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor?s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance. Master?s degree will be preferred.
  • 2-3 years? experience in accounts/bookkeeping.
  • Exposure to ERP preferably QuickBooks.
  • Bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Knowledge of tax laws.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
