If you are asked for money in connection with this recruitment, please report to International Medical Corps at the website provided at the end of this document.Title: Psychologist (SRF # 238)Reporting Line: Mental Health Focal PointThis position is under Consultancy AgreementLocation: Irbid CityTasks and responsibilities- Organize the development of initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.- Monitor on-going care plan development with special attention to safety issues and stabilizing the family from the effects of domestic violence.- Provide psychological assistance with the aim to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families, maximizing overall community well-being.- Conduct assessments with beneficiaries seeking support and/or services from the center.- Offer direct therapeutic support for clients referred- Provide supportive clinical supervision for field psychologists; supervision will also include modeling therapy sessions as well as observation of clinical sessions.- Establish long-term goals in case planning, which can include family stability.- Ensure that all care plan activities have timelines and support services.- Coordinate the provision of social services to patients, families, and significant others to enable these parties to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.- Enhance a collaborative relationship to maximize the clients and familys ability to make informed decisions.- Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge/termination.- Conduct home visits as required.- Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures (HoNOS). And client functioning scale- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required.- Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
