Supervise the Midwives team (roster, leave planning)
Ensure that the staff on duty knows, implements and follows at all times the hygiene standards and precautions
Responsible to ensure that all the administrative procedures and documents are filled in correctly
examining and monitoring pregnant women
assessing care requirements and writing care plans
undertaking antenatal care in hospitals, homes and GP practices
carrying out screening tests
providing information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners
taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
caring for and assisting women in labor
monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions during labor 9-monitoring the fetus during labor
advising about and supporting parentsin the daily care of their newborn babies Il-helping parents to cope with miscarriage, termination, stillbirth and neonatal death
Ability to deal with emotionallycharged situations
Excellent team working skills (help otherdepartment if they need)
