ASSIGNMENTThe CFW Deputy Project Manager will be directly responsible to support the Project manager on implementation and overseeing of ACTED CFW Projects in North Jordan particularly in Ziglab dam.The position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of CFW activities that aims to contribute and improve the living conditions of Jordanian and Syrian families in need through employment intensive measures. The project aims through establishment of regular CFW activities to reduce erosion in dam catchment area and improve the living and economical condition of vulnerable population both Syrian and Jordanian around the area of intervention;The CFW Deputy Project Manager, will assist the Project Manager to lead the project and s/he will be line managed by ACTED CFW Project Manager and Area Coordinator. The position will includes the management of project with 3 other partners who each will have their responsibilities during the implementation cycle of the project. Thus, the role of Deputy Project Manager is to support the Project Manager to coordinate and harmonize the project FLATS process with 3 other ACTED project partners (IUCN, Horizon and REACH) in appropriate way.Given one of the component of the project is in Zaatari camp, thus, s/he may require to support the project implementation in Zaatari camp, subject to pre-agreement and pre-approval of the Project Manager and Area Coordinator.I. FUNCTIONSThe Deputy Project Manager Cash for Work (CFW) is line managed by Project Manager and the position key functions listed below:I.I. Liaise with Local authorities: S/he is responsible to coordinate and liaise with local authorities at field and capital level to facilitate the smooth implementation of the project. This will include but not limited to beneficiaries? work permit FU, MoPIC follow up with support of Capital Admin/HR department, attend in the meeting organized at field by/with local authorities;I.II. Project FLATS/Compliance FU: In coordination with ACTED FLATS department, ensure that project partners policies and procedures are in line with ACTED and donor procedures. This task could be conducted by regular communication, review of partners? procedures, capacity building and troubleshooting. S/he will facilitate and remain as catalyst between ACTED FLATS department and project partners for FLATS documents review and feedbacks;I.III. Partners capacity building/troubleshooting: S/he will be responsible to organize training on ACTED FLATS procedures as well as donor policies based on project requirements;I.IV. Field Support as required: Based on project requirements he will review the ACTED project CFW documents, project procurement, goods delivery, stock records follow up, CFW recruitments and payment and other tasks required during the project and delegate by the project Manager and Area Coordinator;I.V. Project Record Keeling/Filing;S/he will ensure that a proper document record keeping and filing system is established to ensure transparency, accountability and appropriate record keeping is existed during the project life cycle;I.VI. Reporting:S/he will ensure to provide all is relevant activity report to ACTED Project Manager and Area Coordinator on timely manner;I.VII. Safety and SecurityS/he will support the Project Manager and Area Coordinator on day to day security coordination with Area and Capital office security officers. The Deputy Project manager will support for any security incidents at field level, the documentations and first drafting of reports; S/he will facilitate staff movement to the field and support Project Manager on all issues relevant to Safety and Security of ACTED staff and beneficiaries;??
