Job Purpose:Ensures audit plans are in place and carried out for areas of responsibility. Highlights recommendations for corrective actions on required issues during audit.Key Accountabilities:? Evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, control and governance systems are functioning as intended for areas of responsibility? Reports risk management issues and internal control deficiencies identified directly to audit manager and provides recommendations for improving the areas of responsibility in terms of both efficient and effective performance? Evaluates regulatory compliance programs with consultation from legal counsel for areas of responsibility? Works with third party external auditors at the company? Oversees the development of audit plans for individual areas and specialisms? Ensures recommendations from audit are implemented by the areas of responsibility? Keeps addressed of new and updated laws, regulations, and implementation of them to the company? Advises on corporate governance best practice? Ensures compliance with Saudi laws and regulations in areas of responsibilitySafety:Description:Workplace (WPS) and Process (PSM) Safety:? Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others.? Adhere strictly to all IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential WPS and PSM incidents at all times.? Always comply with the SASREF HSE Policy, the 5 Safety Principles and 12 Golden Safety Rules .Performance Indicators:? No personal injury or injury to a third party.? No WPS or PSM incident caused.Qualifications & Experience? Bachelor degree (or equivalent) and professional qualifications such as auditor (CIA)? Experience in a comparable role is important? Engineering and Project Management degree will be an advantage (or plus project management certification)? SAP experience within the Oil and gas industries will be an added advantage? Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
