JobSummary:Implement the companymaterial and services sourcing plans and support procurement and contractingactivities through sourcing vendors, facilitating bidding processes,administrating contracts, developing vendors, minimizing risks and maximizingvalue in terms of quality, delivery and cost.Duties andResponsibilities:Understand strategies forassigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcingobjectives.Implementing the sourcingprocess from identifying potential suppliers to adding supplier to theapproved suppliers list.Identify potential suppliersfor various mechanical & electronic commodities & facilitate theiron-boarding (non-disclosure agreement, White Paper assessment, complianceaudits etc.)Manage the qualification ofsuppliers to ensure that those affected are capable of producing theequipment and / or that the components are always in compliance with MHPSspecifications and technical drawings.Manage the supplieron-boarding, phase-out and classification processes.Support the developmentinitiatives of potential local suppliers.Provide support to achievethe value creation / savings targets for assigned commodity and takeownership of specific projects as assigned.Perform competitionlandscaping to understand product base cost and leverage best practicesTransmit procurement qualityfindings to the Engineering department during product design assessmentsPlanning of annualsurveillance audits and annual qualification of suppliersNegotiate contracts toachieve set targets for budget, savings, and cash payment terms.Responsible of contractsadministration and approved suppliers list.Implementing standardizedpolicies and procedures.Preparation of managementreports.Develop technical and marketexpertise in commodity area.Maintain a culture wherebyall parties are encouraged to work together towards common improvement goals.Support the generation andimplementation of new ideas and improvements in all aspects of the business.Any additionalresponsibility assigned by the supply chain managerAcademic andProfessional Qualifications:Engineering Degree preferably in Industrial/Mechanical.Lean / Six Sigma certification is preferredLanguages:English Speaking, Writing, & TypingArabic Speaking, Writing, & TypingWorkExperience:4-6 Years of Procurement or Sourcing Experience with maintenanceservice industry.SpecialSkills:High level of negotiation skills, contracting expertise.Knowledge of fabrication, castings, forgings and machinedcomponents.Very strong project management skills and result orientedmindset.Strong background in computer based office management & ERPSystem
