Job Description

This role is partof the Schneider Electric Process Automation R&D team based in theSchneider Electric Technology & Innovation center in Dhahran Techno Valley,Saudi Arabia. Objective is to support the Industry Business growth with newoffers and help improve customer engagement & satisfaction through win-win technologypartnerships. This role will have matrixsupport from identified resources within the other development centers in US,India, Australia, and Canada, etc., and will coordinate with internaldepartments including but not limited to Sales, Business development, Productdevelopment, Marketing, Operations, etc., and will also collaborate with Indiabased outsourcing IT companies like Cognizant and Tata ConsultancyServices.Key Responsibilities? Be involved in regionalcustomer / market engagement activities to define impactful customer usecases through a close working relationship with the regional & globalcommercial & functional support teams? Drive key technicaldecisions for implementation of the System policy in his/her organization? Express the architecturerequirements (functionalities, performance, re-use constraints, ) inalignment with our platforming strategy? Document architectureaspects of the multi-techno Product including requirements, design,implementation of the system, risks and alternative solutions? Subdivide a complexapplication into manageable pieces? Work as an effectivemember of the global development & execution team in his/her area ofexpertise once a project is launched? Communicate and supportdesigners/engineers to maintain the consistency of the architecture? Work across corporatefunctions and business units, as requiredRequired Experience? Broad understanding ofdata science, how machine learning and natural language processing work.Hands on experience in one or more of these areas is a strong plus? You are regarded as asubject matter expert for one (or more) of the following:? Wireless & wirededge automation architectures? Understanding ofMachine Learning, Natural Language Processing? Data Analytics? Understanding of howAPIs enable 3rd parties to integrate with core digital servicesinfrastructure? Wide and effectivenetwork of contacts and the ability to quickly build and expand yournetwork? Technicallyinquisitiveness, willing to get into & figure out the details of asolution to the degree that you can own the solution? Excellent communicationand presentation skills with the ability to craft clear, concise,compelling messages appropriate for the audience? Analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex and/orambiguous problems to its component parts, and then propose actionablesolutions? Leadership skills withthe ability to communicate across functional teams, external partners andvendors without direct authority? A highdegree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contributionand a sense of urgency and excitement? Experience withindustrial control systems & process automation technologies is a plus? Minimum M.Sc. degree in Engineering or a relevantdiscipline with at least 5 years of relevant experienceDesired Experience? M.Sc. degree in Engineering or a relevant disciplinewith 10 years of relevant experience or A PhD degree with 5 years ofrelevant experience? Working knowledge/experience with industrialcybersecurity systems & concepts? Cloud computing experience (Azure, AWS, Google,etc.)
