We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Unit Head to join our team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. As the Maintenance Unit Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance operations of our organization. This includes planning and executing maintenance activities, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities.Responsibilities:?˙Manages the Heavy Mobile Equipment Central Workshop to achieve cost efficiency, speed of service, and quality of service.?˙Ensures inspections (pre delivery / upon return of assets) are conducted on time.?˙Develops and prepares preventive maintenance schedules.?˙Coordinates with Regional Unit Heads regarding major repairs on site.?˙Reports to the Maintenance Manager on the mishandling of equipment and vehicles by end users.?˙Investigates any issues / problems with the assets and discusses with the users as required.?˙Accountable for the overall productivity of the Central Workshop repair team.?˙Monitors, controls, and improves service performance.?˙Controls the consumption of spare parts and consumables by the maintenance team.?˙Ensures the timely ordering and delivery of spare parts to the Central Workshop.?˙Accountable for the workshop equipment and tools and ensures proper corrective maintenance procedures are in place.?˙Accountable for implementing safety procedures and guidelines in the central workshop.?˙Controls the quality of outsourced repair jobs.?˙Plans for and implements training and development programs for the maintenance team.?˙Ensures timely billing of Workshop services.?˙Provides the Maintenance Manager with data and support for improving maintenance activities.?˙Tracks key KPIs for Central Workshop, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement.Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports.
