Sending enquiries to approved manufacturers & and following up for quotations preparing comparative statements with technical & and commercial terms, finalizing suppliers, getting approval from Higher management
Placing PO, Expediting material delivery, and Solving supplier payment problems. Maintaining Material Tracking schedule (MTS) for Main contractor/Consultant/Client submission. Attending Client/ Consultant meetings related to the Procurement progress of the project.
Negotiating with supplier as per budget & and issuing Letter of Intent
Preparing/Getting material submittal for Consultant approval, once approved, preparing Order & and ensuring timely delivery of material as per project programme.
Preparing all necessary documents, which are required in the overall project operation and preparation of purchase orders and follow-up with the suppliers
Contacting suppliers to get the appropriate materials on time. Arranging the samples as per the site requirements.
Identifying, selecting, and building a strong team of subcontractors and suppliers as part of the supply chain and sourcing strategy to consolidate overall spending.
Preparation of subcontract agreement (both in Arabic and English) related to the project
Carryout periodic re-evaluation of subcontractors/suppliers and take corrective/preventive actions as necessary
Receiving the invoices from various suppliers and forwarding to accounts after verifying the purchase order.
Support work winning team by obtaining competitive subcontract proposals for timely submission of tenders
Planning ? All activities related to material/services planning, inventory mgt. Material Planning and scheduling. Define logistical requirements of delivery. Ensure proper internal distribution of supplies. Analyze inventory levels. Organize storage.
Formulating and organizing cost-saving strategic purchase plans by observing the material requirements of different projects with the help of team effort.
