Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in the dynamic Oil & Gas sector. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling within the Oil & Gas industry, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project scope, requirements, and constraints.
  • Conduct schedule analysis and identify critical path activities to optimize project timelines and resource utilization.
  • Monitor progress against baseline schedules, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, including variance analysis, to project teams and management.
  • Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate their schedules into the overall project plan.
  • Assist in risk management activities by identifying schedule risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on schedule performance and forecasts.
