Min 2 - 3 years experience as Marine Navigation/Radio/Automation Technician
Be involved with the development, design, installation, repair, calibration, maintenance in projects involving IT andMarine Automation Systems both ashore and on vessels to electrical and electronic automation of ships? Duties include the installation, commissioning, after sales support of automationsystems provided by our company.? Design, manufacture, repair, install, commission marine automation systems? Preparing technical training documents for onboarding new engineers.? Design and develop marine automation systems.? Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems.? Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.? Develop control systems for marine vessels.? Design equipment layouts.? Work closely with other engineers and technicians.? Conduct system tests and inspections.? Prepare technical reports and documentation.? Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies.? Provide technical support to crew members? Execute the installation, configuration, and calibration of maritime navigation andcommunication systems, including but not limited to radar systems, GPS navigationsystems, communication systems, and electronic chart display and informationsystems.? Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting procedures toidentify and resolve technical issues promptly, both remotely and on-site.? Maintain, repair, and install Navigation and Radio Equipment, both onboard and inthe workshop.? Carry out annual Radio Surveys and Voyage Data Recorder Annual PerformanceTests.? Perform Gyrocompass overhauling.? Submit detailed reports following the completion of an assignment.? Report any hazards noticed.? Coordinate between the Operations Department for the services and installationschedule.? Cooperate with other Marine Engineers to ensure smooth flow of the services.
