Black & Grey HR is hiring for a lighting manufacturing company in the UAE is seeking to hire dynamic Estimation and Support Engineers. As an Estimation and Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in estimating and preparing offers and quotes for lighting products for commercial and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a modern and innovative organization in the lighting industry.<br /><b>Responsibilities:</b><br /><br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿEstimate Projects: Create commercial estimates tailored to project requirements.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿBid Analysis: Evaluate bid specifications and drawings, offering alternative solutions when necessary.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿDetailed Quotations: Prepare comprehensive lighting quotations with technical documentation.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿCollaborate with Sales: Work closely with Sales Engineers to monitor bids and budgets.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿTechnical Support: Coordinate with customers and the factory to provide technical assistance and necessary documentation, including technical documents, drawings, diagrams, and compliance statements.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿLighting Proposals: Develop lighting proposals and retrofit solutions for both internal and external lighting projects.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿTeam Communication: Maintain regular communication with the design and sales teams to ensure alignment.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿSample Setup: Assist in setting up product samples and project mock-ups when required.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿSales Support: Support the sales team in follow-up and negotiation with customers regarding quotes and order generation.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿOrder Management: Manage the entire order processing cycle, including liaison with the sales team, customers, and the factory for ordering, invoicing, and delivery.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿPre-Qualification Documents: Contribute to the preparation of pre-qualification documents in line with client requirements.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿCustomer Service: Coordinate with the factory and warehouse to deliver excellent customer service.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all products and their specifications.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿUser Manuals: Manage user manuals for customers.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿRegulatory Compliance: Ensure that quoted products comply with local regulatory standards and assist in obtaining necessary approvals from local government bodies, large developers, and relevant authoritiesÿand utilities such as DEWA. Additionally, be responsible for addressing all inquiries originating from the sales team, including conducting on-site surveys and inspections as needed.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿTechnical Support: Address all technical inquiries from the sales team, which may include on-site surveys and inspections.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿCompliance and Reporting: Adhere to all company policies and procedures and provide weekly reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.<br /><br /><br /><br />Requirements-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿBachelors degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.<br /> -ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿMinimum 3 years experience in estimation and preparation of offers for large lighting projects in UAE.-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿExcellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿIn-depth knowledge of a wide range of lighting products, both indoor and outdoor.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿStrong business acumen and the ability to make informed decisions.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿInitiative, enthusiasm, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿProficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.<br />-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿKnowledge of AutoCAD and lighting software like Dialux and/or Relux or any other preferred.<br /><br /><br />Benefits-ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿAttractive salary + Benefits<br />
