Position Title:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Drilling and Workover SuperintendentEmployment Type:˙˙˙˙˙1 year contract (renewable)Salary: ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙all-inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙UAE˙About the Client: A leading oil and gas company in UAE.˙Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of Exploration and Development Drilling, DST?s, Completions, Workover, HWU/Snubbing, P&A, UBCTD, Rigless Intervention, Well Integrity and Civil Work contractors and service companies to ensure that the well operations programmes are followed accurately and execution is successfully achieved in all operations
  • Ensure operations are completed within company?s AFE time and budget. Quarterly review by Manager.
  • Formal appraisal by Drilling & Completions Manager monthly.
  • Ensuring compliance with company?s HSE regulations, procedures, and standards.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge and experience. Review operations procedures. Daily appraisal.
  • Work closely with Finance and PSCM to manage the drilling and workover budgets.
  • Preparing quality regular reports and documentation related to drilling and workover activities. Capture daily procedures.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and implementing best practices is a key accountability daily.
  • Liaise daily with various stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, partners and other departments.
  • Co-ordinating during emergency events for drilling and workover operations with the company?s IRT.
  • Liaise on Civil Work site construction to prepare the drilling and well intervention operations, waste cuttings and well site restoration after operations are completed.
  • Liaise with PSCM department members on technical scope and technical evaluation of tenders and one-off purchases of material and services.
  • Liaise with HSE Drilling Superintendent on QHSE matters related to Drilling and Well Intervention operations.
  • Liaise with Fluids Superintendent on Fluids matters related to well planning and operations.
