Job Description

Job Overview:The Accountant/ Financial Manager will play a pivotal role in managing both financial and operational tasks related to the company?s daily activities. This position is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, facilitating smooth operations, and maintaining effective communication between various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Oversee the collection, verification, and management of all primary documents such as agreements, invoices, and receipts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations for clients and suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and handle requests for missing documentation.
  • Payment Processing: Manage and process payment requests in accordance with the company?s internal policies.
  • Cash Management: Collect and reconcile cash funds weekly from drivers, ensuring all cash expenses are accurately documented and reconciled.
  • Vehicle Management: Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and fines, maintain a detailed register for these activities.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary communication link between the Finance team, Operations team, Auditors, and Drivers. Ensure effective flow of information and timely resolution of issues.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Provide daily reports to the Operations team, monitor key performance indicators for drivers and vehicles, and prepare operational reports as requested.
  • PEMO and Expense Management: Regularly check PEMO statements and driver card expenditures to ensure compliance and accurate tracking.
