Job Description

About the Position:We currently looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor for Volvo Trucks in Dubai. Reporting to the National Service Manager, you will be?responsible for matching monthly budgets via ensuring optimum utilization of the available workshop labor and resources in the shift to achieve set operational efficiency targets. You will ensure the team carries out Repair works & service activities in accordance to established quality, safety and efficiency guidelines and within set time frames. Successful candidate will also have a sales role to insure that desired targets are met in the?branch.?Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Achieves monthly budget of labor net sales
  • Prepares the team for the upcoming job and allocates job cards to them to align the jobs to the skills set and efficiency level and maximize throughput in a timely manner
  • Reviews pre-order forms (Parts proforma) to confirm parts requirements are well matched with the issue on hand and guaranteed to fix the problem
  • Ensures quality checks are done on finished jobs by the technicians
  • Monitors warranty jobs to ensure the team follows the set warranty guidelines. This includes reviewing job cards and other documentation to justify warranty claims and facilitate smooth processing
  • Responsible for technician output
