WORKING-PARTY LOGISTICS ENGINEER

Job Description

A vacancy has become available for a Working-Party Logistics Engineer within the Customer Care Centre perimeter particularly to our Airbus working party team engaged on aircraft major repair, specific structure/systems modifications, trouble shooting or technical advisory on all Airbus aircraft family in the respect of our Part 145 regulations.The open position will be part of the Working Party Technical Operations based in Dubai in cooperation with a worldwide Working Party Warehouse Network in Europe, Kuala Lumpur and Mobile.TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIESYour main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Participate in maintaining the Working-Party Warehouse meeting all quality requirements in accordance with Airbus Maintenance Organization procedures and EASA Part 145 regulations.
• Ensure quality and on time delivery assisting with the preparation of working-party projects including working closely with the Aircraft Embodiment Engineering team, Working-Party Managers and A/C Technicians.
• Work in close collaboration with other part 145 warehouses (located worldwide) - support each location with tool requests and equipment transfers or supplies.
• Perform regular check of shipment preparation (package, packing list, pro forma).
• Develop collaborative ways of working with our WP teams for future tooling solutions requirement.
• Contribute to the tool and equipment ordering process, raise Purchase Requisition in SAP - liaise with suppliers and procurement.
• Promote a foreign object damage (FOD) free aircraft culture - ensure continuous development of warehouse tooling activities to contribute to FOD prevention within part 145 working parties.
• Promote a feedback culture for warehouse deliverables, act upon opportunities for improvement, promote strengths and report any significant issues to management, or project teams for escalation.
• Promote & contribute to digitalization projects, e.g.(QR code project, site internet, e-warehouse tool request, harmonized warehouse site, kit contents site).
• Contribute and support the set-up of Worldwide Part 145 logistics warehouse.
• Take part in warehouse exchange programs- sharing knowledge / skills & experience between multinational teams.
• Act as the back-up of the Working Party Warehouse Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & MAJOR END RESULTS

• Ensure Customer satisfaction on all Working Party Logistics Engineer projects & tooling topics related to in-Service A/C.
• On time & Quality delivery of embodiment tooling requirements in compliance with EASA Part145 regulations during preparation phase and embodiment phase.
• Ensure adherence to Customer Care planning, and budgets, whilst ensuring Working Party Logistics Engineer deliverables conform to strategy and targets.
• Evolve and promote a feedback culture in order to simplify & improve working methods for all working parties. - Promote feedback and act upon results.
• Participate with internal & EASA Part 145 audits in the scope of warehouse activities and ensure accurate follow-up to maintain Airbus approval.
• Contribute towards Working Party logistics engineering & tooling activities ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external suppliers, whilst challenging cost reduction.
• Follow-up CAPEX and OPEX spends against new and existing projects, ensure reporting is provided on time within targets.
• Contribute towards global projects, tooling innovation, warehouse harmonization projects - working closely with, other part 145 warehouses, Toulouse, Dubai, KL, Mobile USA.
• Contribute to digitization projects, QR code project, WTR (warehouse tool request), g-suite, seek new working methods and opportunities.
• Contribute to the monitoring and controlling of calibrated tooling and test equipment closely working with our RFM.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience within a logistics / warehouse environment.
• Ability to develop, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Health and safety mindset.
• Good knowledge of EASA Part-145/FAA 145 regulations to understand working party applicable procedures.
• Good Experienced dealing with multiple suppliers.
• Good knowledge of Metrology principles.
• Good technical knowledge of Aircraft manufacturing and Maintenance.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Good level of English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with a High level of Autonomy.
• Ability to work as part of an integrated, multidiscipline, multicultural teams.
• Demonstrate a strong team spirit especially while working with a multi-functional team.
• Ability to take ownership and make well-considered decisions for swift implementation.
