Experience to write SOP - Welding Procedure
Cladding experience in Non-ferrous and ferrous alloys , WPS, PQR preparation as per international code & customer specific requirement
ASME & AWS Awareness
Capability of welding alloy selection, Trouble shooting
CSWIP-3.1 Inspection Level 2, In-process surveillance and final welding visual inspection
Review and ensure PWHT reports & charts
Review and ensure Non-destructive examination (LPI, MPI etc.,)
Review RT / UT results & mark repair and sign route cards after verification
Verify third party invoices and record costs - NDE operations
Knowledge on welding process like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, Auto Tig
Awareness on materials like Carbon steel, Low alloy steel, Stainless steel and their grades
Knowledge on PQR & WPQ test qualifications
Knowledge on oil & Gas equipments like valves & manifolds
Knowledge on butt weld, filet welding, CRA cladding inconel 625, Inconel 825, SS316L
Knowledge on maintaining and monitor records on the welding process & its inspection reports
Promote & maintain HSE Culture in the workforce
Team Building & maintain the Team for effective production
Achieve & maintain QHSE objectives, Continual improvements, maintain records.
