The purpose of the Welcome Officer is to provide a warm welcome for all volunteers and visitors to the House of Volunteers/Expo 2020; both Campus and by telephone. The role includes registration of potential volunteers and providing an efficient and courteous telephone service. The first contact for all volunteers, guests and callers is through our welcome reception. The aim of a welcome officer is to leave a positive lasting impression to all volunteers, visitors and callers.Main responsibilities for this role include:- Verify registered volunteers upon entering the House of Volunteers;- Distribute Volunteers to interview booths and identified batches;- Ensure each Volunteer is fully informed and aware of interview booth number and interview batch number;- Dealing with queries or request from the visitors and employees;- Book meeting rooms as requested by callers. Ensure the booking is clear and in line with the meeting room booking process of Expo 2020;- Assist the Volunteers Team as requested in other administrative tasks related to office management;- Continusouly update and maintain the Volunteer program system on a daily basis;- Answer all phone calls to the House of Volunteers in the utmost efficient, kind and courteous way, always following Expo 2020 protocol and ensuring a remarkable service.
