Weighbridge AttendantOperations Weighbridge AttendantAbout the job Weighbridge Attendant1.1 Job Scope SummaryThe Weighbridge oversees all waste movement on and off sites and ensures that waste is handled and received in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legislation. Coordinate all transactional data related waste inputs to the facility, as well as outgoing products sent for reprocessing and ensure the welfare and safety of all operatives working in the team and make sure that all work is carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare, and environmental regulatory requirements.1.2 Job ResponsibilitiesPerform duties in a safe and controlled manner to prevent incidents, accidents, and environmental incidents, with particular attention to following safe systems of workReport all Near Misses, Incidents, Safety, and Environmental concerns using the company reporting systemResponsible for all Duty of Care (DoC) matters pertaining to waste control requirementsMaintain housekeeping standards in area of responsibilityEnsure that all waste is handled and received in accordance with the company procedures and legislationEnsure that all equipment checks are carried out on daily basis and maintained in a proper working condition, and defects are reported in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS Information)Responsible for the operation of the weighbridge and accompanying general administrative duties including recording weights, and waste type by vehicle, whilst ensuring completion of the appropriate documentation in line with Environmental Regulations, as and when requiredRole Specific ResponsibilitiesSupport the continuous delivery of waste, to and from the site without interruption to the process conditionsContribute to the site contractual KPIsCompile the weighbridge transactional data and identify what normal looks like, to set the norm as a baseline for waste movements in the regionKey RelationshipsInternal: Site visitors, including key stakeholders and Delivery driversExternal: Tipping Floor Attendants, Administration Team, Commercial Team, Operations Team, and Management TeamThe above job duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of the work and are not intended to be an inclusive list of all responsibilities.
