Job Description

Job Purpose:The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the vital part of the supply chain process, oversees the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods. The role encompasses the management of people, processes, and systems in order to ensure efficient & organized storage, goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the warehouse efficiently in compliance with Company?s policies and procedures.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
  • Manage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics coordination, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing adaptive design layouts; manage utilization of space.
  • Inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Adhere to all warehousing and shipping legislation requirements for smooth documentation & workflow process.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Plan future capacity requirements.
  • Liaise with internal operations teams, third party agencies, transport companies etc.
  • Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with Drivers and logistics partners to ensure efficient delivery of shipments.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • Coordinating with In-house Logistics Team and External Shipment / Freight Forwarding Agencies and manage both inbound and outbound shipment (domestic and international shipments).
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.).
  • Meet regularly with warehouse team, to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Explore and implement the best suitable WMS Software in the warehouse (ad-hoc project).
